Whilst holidaying in the emirates, a visit to the beach is a must! The desert territory allows you an instant escape from the cold wintery snow (although an indoor ski slope is available just in case). With temperatures soaring into the 30s everyday, it is a perfect place to kick back and relax!
We shall visit Jumeirah Beach and/or JBR beach. Both have white sand, crystal clear, turquoise-blue ocean and views of the Burj Al Arab. There are plenty of activities for everyone, including paddle boarding, kayaking or sun bathing. This beach has also been a great location for some serious people watching.
It is worth sticking around as the sun goes down to witness a truly gorgeous sunset.
Dress code: Just an itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikini for the girls and swim shorts for the boys.
Remember: flip flops, sun cream (factor 30+), a beach towel, iPod and a good book to read.
